Ricotta Tiramisu

DSC00163

If someone asks me about my favorite dessert, my answer will always be Tiramisu. Whether the version with espresso and Amaretto or the fruity one with fresh strawberries or cherries – I can hardly resist a creamy Tiramisu.

Unfortunately, the Italian dessert has as many calories as a full meal and goes straight to the hips.

Therefore, I have ventured to try a healthier and lighter version to enjoy without remorse.

Instead of mascarpone, I used Ricotta and low fat curd and omitted the eggs completely.

The result is a really tasty alternative if you do not want to give up on your beloved Tiramisu and want to go a bit lighter regarding bikini season.

Of course, I will still indulge in a classic Tiramisu – but not that often any more.

You will find the recipe for my fruity Strawberry Tiramisu here.

GlG Danuta
